Short answer
The week has six days, named for sins: Gluttony (PR Machine), Sloth (most battles), Lust (Linda and looter orders), Envy (resurrection and free Blue Crystals), Pride (town orders and warehouse pay) and Wrath (Mass). The wheel shows glyphs, not names, lighting today's and tomorrow's.

Reading the wheel
Days are shown as glyphs on a wheel rather than written names. It lights up today's glyph and tomorrow's.
Some glyphs only appear once their system is unlocked — Wrath's centre image, for example, after Holy Moly!.
Day 1 — Gluttony
Load the PR Machine. Charged Hypno-devices, Newspapers or both raise the zombie limit by 10 to 80 for 1 to 5 weeks, depending on the machine tier.
It opens after Congregation Trouble. Our zombie limit and Hypno-device guides cover the loads.
Day 2 — Sloth
Battle day. Most city battles can only be started on Sloth.
Exceptions run any day: Break Through to the Port, both Sewer Brawls, Break Through to the Bathhouse Basement and the Sewerena.
Day 3 — Lust
Hand Green Scrolls to Linda at the Dockside Club to attract new residents, and take looter orders from Davy the Dagger.
At the very end of Lust the Resurrection Lab gets its power back for the next day.
Day 4 — Envy
Resurrection day. One use of the Resurrection device raises every prepared Resurrection Table, then its power is spent until the end of the next Lust.
A successful Prayer for Storms sermon lets the device work on any day while its effect lasts.
After Heart of the Swamp, a pile of 4 Blue Crystals appears at the Goddess of Nature statue at the start of every Envy.
Day 5 — Pride
Town orders are accepted at the Town Warehouse, and warehouse payouts are collected.
Traders' preference caps also reset. Our town orders guide covers the two-order limit.
Day 6 — Wrath
Mass day: one sermon can be held at the Church, on Wrath only. It needs a written prayer and enough parishioners.
It is also the only day to change the Nun's corpse deliveries, and at the end of Wrath a running PR Machine program counts down one week.

A simple weekly plan
Gluttony: load the PR Machine before a big resurrection. Sloth: fight. Lust: Port errands.
Envy: collect crystals, fit collars, raise zombies. Pride: deliver orders. Wrath: preach.
Use the days between to craft the Supply boxes, prayers and collars the next event needs.
