The four items are Wine, Grape Juice, Vegetable salad and Bowl of sauerkraut.

For wine, the craft takes 8 ticks and needs the Advanced Alchemy technology.

Two quests ask for gold Wine: Inflation wants 3 and The Lord's Vintage wants 2.

After Inflation, the mercenaries are paid in wine — 3 gold Wine per hire — so a steady Umami supply keeps hired fighters affordable.

Umami only upgrades silver to gold. Bronze Wine becomes silver at the Kitchen Table with 1 Spices instead, after Transmutation I.

Spices is another alchemy formula, 2 green and 2 blue.

The Alchemist stocks 10 Umami from trader level 3 at a base 15 silver, and buys it back for about 11 silver 25 bronze.

Studying one pays +50 green and +10 blue tech points for 10 Science.
