Graveyard Keeper 2 Factory Layout

Updated 2026-10-22 · Searched as “graveyard keeper 2 factory layout”

Short answer

Build short, readable lanes: raw materials enter on one side of the Assembly Bench and finished goods leave on the other into a Supply Station. Keep power in budget, since each Carousel zombie is reported to add 7 Factory Power (10 with Belt Master) while every belt tile, splitter and station draws some. When demand passes supply the whole line stops, often right after you add one more tile.

Zombie workers stand along rows of machines and conveyor belts in a candlelit workshop.

Before you lay a belt

Clear the cellar blockage, repair and staff the Zombie Carousel, then unlock Conveyors and the Assembly Bench. Conveyors need 50 reputation with Jack.

Start with one short belt to a single worker on a simple recipe before you scale up.

A layout that reads at a glance

Feed raw items in on the left of the bench and send products out on the right. Belts that are not lined up correctly move nothing, so check each joint.

End every line in a Supply Station so output does not back up into the workers.

An input Conveyor Chest I feeds an Assembly Bench I worked by a zombie, which feeds an output Conveyor Chest I. The Zombie Carousel powers the belts, and each belt piece adds 1 demand.

Power budget

Community numbers put each Carousel zombie at 7 Factory Power, or 10 with the Belt Master perk. Belts, splitters, underground sections and supply stations all draw from that pool.

Do not confuse Factory Power with Zombie Power from the Bioreactor or with the zombie limit. They are three separate systems.

Why zombies stand idle

Zombies cannot fetch materials. An idle worker usually has a wrong tool, too little mastery, no materials, no queue, a full output chest, a blocked path or the wrong work zone.

A Zombie Supplier Station moves materials between nearby chests and benches, but only inside the same area, so keep each production cell compact.
